For contracts, site and project managers
Checking your subcontractors’ RAMS before they start on site
Check each subcontractor’s RAMS against the verified HSE standard before you accept it, and keep a written record of what you checked.
Free, no sign-up. The real verdict in about 15 seconds.
What lands on your desk
A subcontractor’s risk assessment and method statement lands a few days before they start, sometimes a few hours. Somebody has to read it and accept it or send it back. On most jobs that somebody is you.
You run contracts, sites or the firm. You are not a safety specialist, and you still have to judge whether the document describes the actual job, whether the hazards are the real ones and whether the controls would work. Do that for a whole stack in a busy week and something gets waved through.
If a weak one gets through and somebody is hurt, the question comes back to you. Your client will ask what you checked. So will the inspector.
Most firms have nothing written down to answer with, an email saying it looks fine if that. This is the part RAMSReady takes off you.
The Vetting plan: the same check, for the whole stack
The free check does one RAMS. The Vetting plan does the whole stack and keeps the result.
Up to 15 at a time
Paste the text or upload PDF or Word files, up to 15 subcontractor RAMS in one batch. Each one takes about 15 seconds to score.
Pass or fail against the HSE standard
Every RAMS is scored against the verified HSE standard and marked site-ready, borderline or would be rejected, with its main failings listed.
Worst first
The board is sorted worst first, so the RAMS that need your attention are at the top.
Your record of what you checked
Every board is saved. When your client or the inspector asks what you checked, open it, or download it as a CSV.
A link to send back
Add a subcontractor’s email and the board gives you a fix link for them. They fix their own RAMS rather than you rewriting it, and what they send back is scored on the same board.
Vetting plan, £149/mo
Monthly, cancel anytime. If you have not tried the free check yet, start there.
What it does not do
It does not approve a subcontractor for you. A site-ready result is an advisory screen, not a sign-off.
It does not replace your judgement. You still read the RAMS and you still make the call. What you get is a consistent first check and a written note of what it found.
It does not keep the RAMS text. Scores are saved to your batches. The RAMS text itself is not stored.
