About RAMSReady
RAMSReady is a trading name of Bloor Engineering Ltd, registered in England and Wales no. 14230472. It is not a separate company.
Who builds it
RAMSReady is built and run by Bloor Engineering Ltd, a UK thermal-processing engineering firm that writes RAMS and COSHH assessments for its own furnace work. It is a working engineering business, not a software-only company, and the people who build RAMSReady are the same people who have to produce risk assessments and method statements before going on site.
How documents are reviewed
RAMSReady generates safety documents based on UK health and safety legislation and the details you give it. It does not sign them off for you.
Every document must be reviewed by the responsible person before use on site; RAMSReady does not provide a guarantee of compliance, and that responsibility remains with you as the employer under MHSWR 1999 reg 3.
Read each document through, check that the hazards and controls match the actual task and site, correct anything that does not, and only then sign and brief it.
